“This particular song came from a vision of ecological restoration gone wild, where human infrastructure is overwhelmed by corporate fauna in blue suits at dawn tryna spread the sacred flora. The streets are cracked and buildings collapse, but in a good way, since the wind that gushes up when roofs fall is cool and wet and smells like moss.
But when it gets dark then you get these self-help gurus roaming the streets with solar-powered flashlights and pamphlets about how "everything is connected", and we're all like: "yeah no kidding, there's roots wrapped around my ankles now and ants crawling up my sleeve so leave us alone". But they don't ever leave, because how could they if everything's connected?"
We agree. Dave Biddle’s got to have one of the best stage presences we’ve ever seen. Live sax and hardware and dance moves that destroy an entire dancefloor. This guys got the magic!
